What We Do
At Journalists for Justice, we bring together journalists from around the world who are committed to reporting truthfully and courageously on Palestine and global human rights issues. Our work centres on creating a professional network that empowers, connects, and protects those telling stories that matter.
We focus on four main areas:
Network Building – We connect journalists across regions, languages, and publications to share experiences, resources, and opportunities. Through this network, members can find solidarity, mentorship, and collaboration in a space built on trust and shared values.
Knowledge Sharing – We provide regular newsletters, discussions, and updates on coverage of Palestine, press freedom developments, and human rights reporting. Members can exchange insights, data, and field experiences to strengthen the quality and integrity of journalism worldwide.
Journalist Safety – We recognise the risks many journalists face when covering Palestine and other conflict zones. Our community promotes practical safety knowledge, wellbeing support, and guidance on digital and professional protection.
Events and Collaboration – We host online meetings, workshops, and future in-person gatherings to foster collaboration across borders. From shared reporting projects to editorial discussions, our events help build a stronger, unified voice for ethical and justice-driven journalism.
At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to integrity, solidarity, and the belief that coordinated, ethical journalism can drive real change.
